Book Launch:

Paul Burton's new book, Goodnight Sweetheart: A Guide to the Classic Sitcom, will be launched in the Function Room of Nell of Old Drury (opposite the front entrance to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane) at 29 Catherine Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2B 5JS, on Sunday 28th July 2024. The event will take place between 2.00pm and 6.00pm.

Subject to availability, the following cast and production team members from Goodnight Sweetheart will be attending the event. They will be joining Paul Burton in signing copies of the new book:

Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (series creators and writers)

Gary Lawson and John Phelps (writers)

Main Cast: Elizabeth Carling (Phoebe, series 4 onwards), Emma Amos (Yvonne series 4 onwards), Esme Coy (Ellie), Christopher Ettridge (Reg)

In addition, the pianist and singer Kate Garner will be performing songs from the Second World War during the afternoon.

This book launch is not connected with any other Goodnight Sweetheart events.

Additional copies of the book will be on sale at the event. Only cash payments will be accepted on the day.

The event is open to anyone aged 14+. However, those aged under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets must be printed out or displayed on a smart phone.

Ticketholders can arrive and leave the event anytime between 2.00pm and 6.00pm.

There is no lift to the Function Room on the first floor.

Drinks will be on sale in the main bar throughout the afternoon.

The closest railway stations are Charing Cross and Waterloo Station.

The nearest London Underground stations are Covent Garden and Holborn.
